He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Rosenkranz and Sara Furman; his brother Larry Rosenkranz; and his stepson Robert Diorio, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Troncillito; his stepdaughter Jeanna Upshaw; and his sister-in-law Norma Rosenkranz. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, nieces, great nieces, great nephews and many close childhood friends.
He made many yearly donations to animal and environmental charities.
