Mariano Russo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariano Russo of Marlboro, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Russo and Maria Russo; his wife Franca Russo; and his brother Paolo Russo. He is survived by: his son Giuseppe; his daughter-in-law Amy Russo of Marlboro, NY; his granddaughter Mia Russo of Marlboro, NY; his siblings, Gina DiLeonardo (Phil) of Marlboro, NY, Franco Russo of Marlboro, NY and Giacomo Russo (Nina) of Giuliana, Sicily; his niece Mariella Dileonardo of Marlboro, NY; and his nephew Vincent DiLeonardo (Gina) of Marlboro. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A Mass was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (1209 Rte 9W, Marlboro, NY 12542). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5469 Rte 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550).
