He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kartis and Mary Kartis (Kelemen); and his nephew Christopher J. Saltalamachia. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kartis; his children, George Kartis, Jr. (Victoria), Elisha Williams, Allison Kartis and Amber Kartis; his stepdaughter Bridget Foley; his sisters, Linda Saltalamachia (John) and Mary Zelez (Charles); his grandchildren, Alexandra Williams, Bianca Foley, David Foley and Brett Williams; and his great grandchildren, Blake Pena and Reese Williams. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
