She was predeceased by: her husband George Gilbert; her son Burton "Skip"; and her brother Vernon Aldrich. She is survived by: her children, Linda Newton, William Gilbert (Shirley), Albert Gilbert (Elizabeth) and George J. "Chip" Gilbert; and her sister Ruth Leo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church.
