She was predeceased by: her husbands, John S. Zywar and Clarence E. Burg. She is survived by: her children, Monica Pierce (late David), Michael Zywar (Amy), Charles Burg (Shirley) and Thomas Burg (Lisa); her godchildren, Diana Ferrando and Tim Grody; and her brother James Grody (Norma). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
