It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hamilton Armour McCarthy of Marietta, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hamilton McCarthy; and his former wife Marguerite. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Herold; his children, Debb Bender (Tom) of White Lake, MI and Scott of East Syracuse; his grandchildren, Dennis (Janet) of Hillsborough, NJ, Matthew, Ian, Hannah, Trevor McCarthy and Stacy Cameron (Mike); his great grandchildren, Noah and Lyla Cameron; and his brothers, Peres McCarthy (Judy), Tyler McCarthy (Jean) and Denny McCarthy (Marcia). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
