He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thompson and Doris Thompson; his brother-in-law Jim LaForest; his nephew Scott LaForest; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Brown, Sandra Williams, Carmella Locke, Gary Locke and Paul Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Locke; his sons, Richard (Laura Ruberto) and Jason (Gina); his grandchildren, Ella, Aaron, Lila and Hyde; his sister Linda LaForest; and his siblings-in-law, William Locke, Richard Brown and Sharon Locke. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
