She was predeceased by: her parents, William Becktel and Edna Becktel (Hammersmith); her sister Shirley Poppleton (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Sophie Rewer (Ted), Stella Waskiewicz (Edward), Louise Pohorecki (Frank), Stanley Sychtysz (Jane), Edward Sychtysz (Mickie), Chester Sychtysz and Matthew Piechowicz.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Sychtysz; her son Dave; her daughter-in-law Genia Sychtysz (Wojcicki) of Clinton; and her sister-in-law Jane Piechowicz of New York Mills.
