He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Lisa Vaga; and his sister Marion Downey. He is survived by: his spouse Anne E. Spencer; his children, Laurie R. Mollin (Hunter) of Marcellus, Linda R., John J. Ruffo of Marcellus and Kathryn R. Komuda (Gene) of Camillus; his grandchildren, Stephen J. Vaga (Shannon), David Vaga (Kasey), Emilee A. Argus (Cody Slate), Kasey J. Komuda and Jena L. Tafel; and his great grandchildren, Lucas J. and Nicholas J. Vaga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
