He was predeceased by: his wife Chloe; his parents, James Harris and Rose Harris; and his brothers, James and Fredrick.
He is survived by: his brother Peter (Fran); his children, James (Joni), John Jr. (Leona) and Heidi Broton (Michael); his grandchildren, Joshua (Karrie), Tara, John Henry III (Megan), Olivia Rose, Emily and Michael; his great grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Faith Martens (Zach), Christopher, Nathaniel, Emma and Willow; and his great great grandchild John Michael Martens.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plis Funeral Home (33 North St, Marcellus, NY 13108). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery (4270 New Seneca Turnpike, Marcellus, NY 13108).
Donations can be made in his memory to the Howlett Hill Fire Department.
