He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Buschbascher; and his pet Nutmeg. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Brett (Laura), Tiffany (Chris), Jesse and Emily (Sadie); his father Don; his siblings, Frank (Annie), Eddie (Sue), Faith and Trina; and his grandchildren, Greyson, Emerson and Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plis Funeral Home (33 North St, Marcellus, NY 13108). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Don's family would appreciate memorial donations made to Izaak Walton League of America – Cortland Chapter, any animal shelter of your choice, or the Upstate Cancer Center.
