She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barnard and Anna May Skinner; her husband James; and her sister Patricia Skinner. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Thornton (Mary), Mary Kern (Ed), Kathleen Thornton, Maureen Stathis (David), James "Bam" Thornton, William Thornton (Marie) and Robert Thornton (Joanne); her sister Nancy Spaulding; and her sister-in-law Joan Thornton. She is also survived by "Nana" to her 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (1 W Main St, Marcellus, NY 13108).
