It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Walker Carlton of Marathon, New York, who passed away on May 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Walker and Marion Walker; and her grandson Brett Ross. She is survived by: her husband Mark Carlton; her sons, Douglas (Tammy Babcock), Jeffrey (Christine Hart) and Brian Ward (Lauren Wood); her grandchildren, Ryan, Tarah, Logan, Nicole, Justin, Kayla and Kourtney; her siblings, Stephen (Dawn Walker), Dolores Walker, Ralph (Merry Walker), Frank (Jammye Walker) and Jill Shoultes; her friend Dawn Shedden; and her pet Capo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
