“Dear Friends (the Smith family), I was preparing to write a letter to Dawn, and in some way decided to check her address, and in doing so discovered her passing. The Freemans and the Smiths were about as close both physically (in Marathon our backyards neearly adjoined) and much more importantly the friendship between my Grandmother (Esther) and Mrs Smith, and later between My father (John D) and the Smith daughters and High and Doug.. The Peace of God be with you! Randy Freeman”
