He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Payne and Elsie Payne (Woodard); and his siblings, Leigh, Franklyn, Lawrence, Eugene, Karl Payne and Helen Zukowski.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Payne (Allen); his children, Victoria Robinson (Jim) and Arthur Payne (Nancy); his grandchildren, Steven Robinson (Rhea), Staci Higgins (Benjamin), Collin Payne and Alexander Payne; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Nolan and Ruby Higgins.
