With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan K. Comer of Manorville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 83. Though Joan has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Stephen Comer (Deirdre), Scott Comer and Janice Pedone (Rick); and her grandchildren, Shayna, Brian, Gregory and Alyssa.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home (31 Landing Avenue, Smithtown, NY 11787). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
