She was predeceased by: her grandmother Vera; her husband Richard P Gillette; her son Luther Gillette; her great grandchild Caitlyn; her siblings, Kenneth Otis Jr., Beverly Esty and Marilyn Woodall; and her parents, Doris Alice Towle and Kenneth Martin Otis.
She is survived by: her sister Cindy Durant (Scott); her son Wayne B Gillette (Debra); her daughter-in-law Debbie Gillette (Luther); her grandchildren, Christopher, Gwendolyn, Paul, Rebecca, L. Patrick, Steve, Stephen, Jacqueline and Suzanne; her great grandchildren, Kacee, Hanna, Esperanza, Lucas, Elyssa, Cameron, Laney, Grace, Lauren, Mia, Lilly, Jackson, HelenElyse, Courtney, Daelen, Nathan, Brody, Kathryn, Levi, Corrine, Colton, Abby, Corrigan and Carson; her grandson Kacee; her child Uno (Skip Bo); and also Field Days. She is also survived by family, but her cousins, nieces, nephews.
Donations may be made in Vera's name to her great grandaughters' Caitlyn R. Pate Fund, Lewis County Hospital Foundation, 7785 N. State St., Lowville, NY 13367 which provides equipment and bereavement memory boxes to support families who have experienced the loss of a child through stillbirth or miscarriage. Donations can also be made in Vera's name to Black River Ambulance Squad 121 LeRay Street, Black River, NY 13612.
