He was predeceased by: his brothers, Floyd and Mike; his brother-in-law Leslie Hobbs; and his parents, Floyd Creighton and Dorothy Murdie Creighton.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dick of Cecilia's Church; his children, James Jr., Paul of Buford, GA, Paula (Tim Strough) and Lorraine; his grandchildren, James III, Jenna Creighton, Rochester of Nathan Strough, TN, Natalie Strough and Lorraine; his siblings, Andy, Matt (Karen), Margaret Scofield (John), Catherine Remington (Glenn), Dorothy Hobbs and Julie (Dale); and his sister-in-law Joyce Creighton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home (7883 NY-289, Henderson, NY 13650). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia's Catholic Church (17 Grove St, Adams, NY 13605).
