He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville N. LaQuay and Dorothy Ford LaQuay; and his siblings, Richard, Stanley, Darwin, Harold, Marjorie McGee and Florence Marilyn LaQuay.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Capito; his wife MaryAlice LaQuay; his children, Randy LaQuay (Marcia) and Cindy Smith (Marty); his stepchildren, Matthew (Colette) and Debbie Joyner (Jim); and his sister Linda Kiliszewski (Alex).
