He is survived by: his wife Susan Stroud; his children, Michelle Diamant (David) of Lincoln, NE and Michael Winje (Patricia) of Manlius, NY; his son-in-law Shawn Van Winkle of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Jennifer Valentine (N. Omar), Ethan Diamant (Bridget), Robert J. Winje, Eli Diamant, Meghan Winje, Lincoln Diamant and Logan Van Winkle; his great grandchildren, Nicolas and Hailey Valentine; and his sisters, Audrey Wellendorf and Marilyn Lund (Dick). He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
