Maria (Emmi) Giamartino Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria (Emmi) Giamartino of Manlius, New York, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paolo Emmi and Maria Concetta Emmi (Ragusa); and her sister Antonina "Nina" LaRosa. She is survived by: her husband John Giamartino; her children, John Paolo Giamartino (Heather), Maria Francesca "Mia" Stanton (James) and David Anthony Giamartino (Catherine); her grandchildren, Emmi Gioia, Gianpaolo, James John, Michael Angelo, Maricatherine Concetta, Maria Emmanuella and Anna Claire; and her sisters, Angela LaRosa (Mario) and Carmela Brocco (George). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Maria may be directed to support the research of Dr. Jin.
