He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McDermott and Doris McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Rita Kelly McDermott; his sons, Matthew J. McDermott (Jennifer) of Rochester and Ryan A. McDermott (Alyson) of Clay; his grandchildren, William, Patrick, Jameson McDermott, Jack and Claire McDermott; and his sister Catherine Milback (David) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
