He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton White and Muriel White; and his nephew Thomas White. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Emily (Chad Morey) and Benjamin White (Amy Harbourne); his brothers, David (Carolyn), Douglas (Sonnia) and R. Gregory White (Deborah); his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Carrie, Jonathan, Jeremy, Jeffry White and Joseph Shure; and his pets, Betsy and Molly.
