He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Miller. He is survived by: his father Harvey Miller; his wife Wendy; his sons, Joshua (Kate Rayburn), Matthew (Amy Hyatt) and Justin; his grandchildren, Hannah, Jaron, Jasper and Abel; and his siblings, Tom, Karol Toole and Dave.

He also volunteered for the American Red Cross, Syracuse Rescue Mission and American Cancer Society.
