He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Liz Cobb (Jeff) of Cazenovia, Jeb Benzing (Carolyn) of Manlius and Peter Benzing of Phoenix; his grandchildren, Madden, Brady Cobb, Addison, Libby, Logan Benzing and Alex Benzing; and his brother Robert Benzing (Carol) of Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Cazenovia Fire Department, 121 Albany St., Cazenovia, NY 13035 in Jim's honor.
