He is survived by: his wife Aili; his son Dr. Andres Madissoo (Jennifer); his stepdaughter Kristina Dougherty (Patrick); his son-in-law Tonu; his grandchildren, Toomas, Triina, Annika, Aleksander, Anders, Hannah, Patrick and Helena; and his sister Maie.
