She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexandar Szczepkowski and Fenia Szczepkowski (Leonowski). She is survived by: her husband John C. Whitman; her son Richard G. Barbieri of Morris; her stepson Geoffrey J. Whitman (Jemina) of Napa; and her pets, Luna and Skye.
