He was predeceased by: his parents, Dario Spola and Gilda Spola (Boglietti); his wife Ida Spola (Bianchetto); and his siblings, Italo "Jimmy" Spola and Mario Spola.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Snowden of Glenham and Rick Spola (Michelle) of Glenham; his grandchildren, Mark Snowden (Kelli) of Verbank and Samantha Cuello (Christian) of Beacon; his great grandchildren, Ava, Jordan, Leo and Callie; his sister Ada Barbieri; and his sister-in-law Theresa Spola. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
