Geoffrey Hornbeck wrote a sympathy message

“I first met Ed in 1981 when I joined the NYC University. Club. Ed and I frequently played squash together. I remember Ed would frequently run up and down 8 flights of stairs after he played squash to keep in shape. We lived on the upper East side in Manhattan and 2 or 3 nights a week would take the bus up Madison Ave. after squash. I joined Westchester C.C. In ‘93 and occasionally played golf with Ed. He was a beloved figure at both clubs and usually the leader of discussion. Rest In Peace.”
