She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Rizzo; and her son Michael Rizzo Jr. (Mickey). She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis O'Neill of Newtown and Beverly Fairchild (Randy) of New Fairfield; her grandchildren, Sarah Albano (Nicholas), Joseph Fairchild (Jessica), Terry O'Neill, Kelly O'Neill and Katherine Mellen (Brendan); and her great grandchildren, Violet Fairchild, Kellan Fairchild, Jack Mellen, Chase Mellen and Aiden Skaggs.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Rose of Lima Church (46 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT 06470). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the St Peter's Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
