With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Stayton Mason Jr. (Manhasset, New York), who passed away on July 9, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Stayton Mason Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane McQuilling Mason; his children, Mary Anne Famighetti (Paul), Randle G. Mason, Elizabeth Hay (Robert), Louise Clare and Christine Smith (Peter); his grandchildren, Paul, Michael, Jane, Christopher Famighetti, Emily, Caroline, Elizabeth Smith, William, Patrick Clare and Anne Hay; his great grandchildren, Esme Famighetti and Dominick Kraus; his parents, Ethel Bookhammer and William S. Mason; and his sister Phyllis. He was also cherished by two daughters, one son-in-law and a granddaughter.

It was a blow to lose his beloved Jane to Alzheimer's in 2003, although in reality he lost her far earlier.
