“Dear Brenda and family, I was very shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s passing this morning at a SFH conference. His leadership role in cardiology at Long Island Jewish Hospital and then the newly minted “Heart Center” at St Francis Hospital set the stage for great advances in medical/cardiac care on Long Island, New York City and indeed the country.
