It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Anthony Tempesta Jr. (Manhasset, New York), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Michele (Perrotta) of Brockton, MA; his parents, Mary Tempesta and Peter Tempesta; his cousin Philip DiBelardino; and his grandchildren, Michele Janie Gibbon (Trent) of Charlotte, NC, Charles, Genevieve, Marissa Ann Sabino (James) of Glen Head, NY, Evelyn and Peter. He was also cherished by his father's he was a constant companion.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the St Mary's Church (1300 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Nassau Knolls Cemetery (500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050).
Donations in his name may be made to "Trova NOW (https://www.trovanow.com)", a foundation dedicated to the research of early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Also, contributions may be made to the "Manhasset Community Fund (https://www.manhassetcommunityfund.org)".
