Nicholas D'Arienzo Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nicholas D'Arienzo (Manhasset, New York), born in Greenpoint, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nicholas left this world on August 15, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Nicholas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nicholas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela D'Arienzo and Pete D'Arienzo; his wife Arlene; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Nicholas, Carmel and Dr. Peter (Lizabeth). He is also survived by extended family includes an abundance of nieces and nephews, a treasure trove of great-nieces and great-nephews, and even a couple of recent great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Mt. Carmel R. C. Church (275 N 8th St, Brooklyn, NY 11211). An entombment was held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. John Roman Catholic Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
