She is survived by: her husband Thomas Buscher; her mother Gerda Soria; her children, James Gillen, Nikolas Buscher and Michaela Buscher; her stepchildren, Justin Buscher, Amy Karrol and Sean Buscher; and her sisters, Sandra Weidner and Tanja Weidner.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Shore Animal League or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
