It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Florence Steck of Manhasset, New York, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Emma Florence had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Emma Florence may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles, Richard and AnnaCherished; her sibling-in-law RoslynBeloved; and her nephew Paul (Beth). She is also survived by 5 Grand Nieces and Nephews, 4 Great Grand Nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairchild and Sons Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenfield Cemetery (650 Nassau Rd, Uniondale, NY 11553).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roslyn Prebyterian Church.
