With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Demetrios Rogu (Manhasset, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Demetrios left this world on January 7, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his daughter Victoria; his grandchildren, Theodore and Demetri; his sisters, Ionna, Georgetta and Ileana; his family America; his wife Maria; his children, George (Delia), Vicky and Nick (Eleni); his grandchildren, Peter, Teddy, Nicole and Stephanie; and his namesake Demetri. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fairchild and Sons Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (15 Kew Gardens Rd, Kew Gardens, NY 11415).
