He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lagakos and Anthoula Louzakos Lagakos; and his sister Christine Papapanos. He is survived by: his son John I. Lagakos of Monroe; and his siblings, Sotiris "Steve" Lagakos of Monroe, Alekos "Alex" Lagakos of Monroe and Despina Tritakis of Athens, Greece. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
