She was predeceased by: her former husband John C. Capuano; her husband William A. Barrett MD of Mamaroneck; her sisters, Frances Bavaro and Mary Bowkley; and her parents, Gennaro Sodano and Anna Severini Sodano.
She is survived by: her brother James Sodano; her daughters, Janice Brittain and Joyce Capuano; her sons-in-law, Bruce Brittain and Chris Belardi; and her stepdaughter Lana Barrett Owens. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mom contributed to many charities, and particularly admired those who taught life skills including Heifer, Bethany Land Institute, Catholic Chairties or one of your choice.
