He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert E. Tipping and Louise Tipping; his wife Barbara Tipping (Betker); his son Robert Tipping (Kristina); and his siblings, James Tipping (Diane) and Judy Albright (Jerry). He was also cherished by many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 122 Fenimore Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543.
