He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert E. Lasek, Marguerite Lasek, Joseph and Janette Amarosso; and his uncle Richie Wilson.

He is survived by: his parents, Robert Lasek and Bonnie Lasek; his children, Captain Andrew Maxwell and Alexa Rakel (Jacob); his former wife Bobbi-Ann Halper (Matthew); his close friend Mary Lawless; his siblings, Bonnie J. Lasek-Eliassy (Ilan) and Joseph A. Lasek (Amy); his nieces and nephews, Skylar, Collin (Kalynda), Blaine and Corra Mae; his uncle Bobby; his aunt Camille Wilson; and also Elias. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
