It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ben A. Acocella (Mamaroneck, New York), born in New Rochelle, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Acocella (Guglielmo) and Michele Acocella; his son Michael; his siblings, Antoinette Villamagna (Acocella), Concetta Romanello (Acocella) and Michael Acocella; and his stepmother Antonia Acocella (Ricciardi).

He is survived by: his wife Grace Mary (Acocella); his children, Angela DelGatto, Marietta Acocella, Bart Acocella (Rosella), Frank Acocella (Ioana) and Grace Ann Pensiero (John); his sister Josephine Marino (Acocella); and his half-brother Charles Acocella. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals For Children http://www.lovetotherescue.org.

I know that he is sorely missed. I just found out about his passing today. While searching for his name. I thought about Ben often & think about Bart often as two good coworkers who always got the job done perfectly together.
