He was loved and cherished by many people including: his husband Sabina Macchia; his children, Michael Macchia (Vanessa), Roberto Macchia (Maria Luisa) and Jessica Macchia; his grandchildren, Michael Rocco and Mila Rae Macchia; and his siblings, Rosa DiLuna, Maria DiLuna and Enza Santoli. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
