It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy J. DeMayo of Malverne, New York, born in New York, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeMayo and Theresa DeMayo; and his siblings, Debbie and John. He is survived by: his wife Joan DeMayo; his sons, Sean (Samantha) and Matthew DeMayo; his grandchildren, Lincoln, Charlotte "Scout" and Hudson DeMayo; and his siblings, Michael DeMayo (Maryann), Susan Edwards (Bruce), MaryPat Buskard (Bruce), Kerry Ryan (Kevin) and Patrick DeMayo (Kathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Anchor Program Fund in memory of Timothy DeMayo. The Anchor Program Fund was established to accept and use donations to maintain and further support programs, fund special activities and events, as well as the necessary supplies and equipment for individuals with disabilities participating under the Town of Hempstead's Camp A.N.C.H.O.R Program.
