She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Mahoney and Lottie Wells Mahoney; her husband Richard A. Hawes; her siblings, Dr. John W. Mahoney, James J. Mahoney, Frances M. Sheehan, Katherine F. Mahoney and Marguerite L. Pratt; and her stepson Phillip Hawes.
She is survived by: her son Richard A. Hawes (Terri) of Seattle; her stepgrandson Andrew Chase; her nieces, Mary Snell (Richard) and Katherine Casey (Richard) of Potsdam; and her nephew James Sheehan (Michele).
