He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Brown and Joyce Taro Brown; and his son Scott Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mersinger; his son Gary Brown, Jr. (JoAnna); his grandchildren, Justin Brown, Joey Brown (Sophia) and Josh Brown (Megan Jock); and his brothers, Larry and David Brown.
