He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Brown and Elaine Brown (Arno). He is survived by: his close friend Melanie Manson Deno; his sons, Austin of Malone and Dylan of Malone; his stepdaughters, Kelsea Longley, Destiny Manson and Kaddy Nesbitt; and his siblings, Earl Brown of Westville and Marion Perry of Malone. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
