It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester M. Root of Mallory, New York, born in West Monroe, New York, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Emmons Root and Genevieve Hazel Root (Boughton); his brother Lynn Root; and his brother-in-law Nelson Rayder. He is survived by: his wife Addelin; his daughters, Christine Root, Trisha Bartlett (Edward) and Sonia Rainie (James); his stepson Lester S. Root (Kathy); and his siblings, Sandra Rayder, Sharon Gearsbeck (Art) and Dwayne Root (Doris). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
