It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Warner Kilby Gruninger (Maine, New York), who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her friend Beach; her husband Norman Kilby, Jr.; her daughters, Dr. Dianna Kilby Emory (Ben) and Lois Kilby-Chesley; her grandchildren, Melissa Savage (Deborah), Bethany Savage (Kevin), Dr. Ian Chesley (Susan) and Mattias Chesley (Melissa); and her stepgrandchildren, Kristin Emory (Jamie), Thor Emory and Chafee Emory. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
No services will be held at the present time due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Donations are encouraged in her memory to the Freeport Public Library (Children's section) where she enjoyed many years as a volunteer reader with preschoolers.
