He is survived by: his parents, Edward Karl Sauer Jr. and Audrey Elizabeth Latter; his children, Silas and Stella; his sisters, Debra Bailey and Mindy Macaluso; his stepparents, Mark Latter and Shari Sauer; and his grandparents, Hank and Ruth Anne Kramer.
His family are planning private family celebrations of Phillip's life in Pennsylvania and Treasure Island due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
